I think you got your sums wrong: (23 x £141.98) + £2,400 + £239.99 = £5,905.53 or £246.06/net/mth.

However, not a great deal when Fleetprices do the same car for £5,560.44 or £231.69/net/mth or Yes Lease doing it for a little more at £5,829.60 or £242.90/net/mth.

Must have been looking at pre VAT fee.

Pretty quick off the mark this morning, so actually I'm looking at ordering this tomorrow...

Any thoughts on a cheaper one?

Looks like a bad deal and the neighbours one keeps breaking down. I'm just going to stick to my 66 plate Range Rover evoque and the wife can have here 10 plate Ford Focus

This car will not have the EA189 engine. New VW diesels are, so far, fine.

Erm, are you wanting to lease for four years? If so? Why?

I really hope you enjoy wasting £700 a month leasing just to show off 66 and 10 plate cars...

OK - cheaper deals still exist, such as this one for £351.75/net/mth, compared to yours (I couldn't find the admin fee so I assume £0) at £355.65/net/mth.

Thanks, guess it depends on how much they will charge for metallic, cannot believe they don't throw that in for free given that it will have a higher residual at the end!

If a 7-seater is the priority, there are cheaper options such as a proper MPV, as opposed to an SUV.

Well you were always going to have a problem downgrading then, whether it's a Golf or a X-Trail or whatever.

Pity you didn't go for that XC60 some weeks back.

You might want to research Range Rover Evoque customer satisfaction surveys if reliability is key.

With a huge deposit then at that price! I'm guessing 10k.

One can get an Evoque for under £375/net/mth, although I wouldn't recommend it.

I've got my current car through Fleet Prices and would urge caution here.
The after-sales is incredibly patchy and the staff rude & useless. My requests for a delivery date and VIN took multiple emails and threats of Small Claims Court to get resolved.

As a tip, most of the large VW franchises will price-match these deals, minus the ridiculous 'admin' fee (which, by the way, Fleet Prices won't let you pay by Credit Card so there goes any protection).

Yes sorry you are right my partner just confirmed to me that this is a"poor man's Range Rover".
My mistake I was thinking it cost £50k.

Why are you trying to show off with a 66 plate Range Rover when you have the girl's version?
#25
VW have just released a facelift Golf.

It's worth checking first whether this is the older model.

Maybe Puddles9999 is a girl. Girls can marry girls.
If she/he is so bothered about showing off her brand new car, then don't tell her/him that the new 17 plates are out soon. ;)

Click the link and you'll see this offer is for the new facelifted one. Prices have decreased in the latest version.

Can you spot the difference though:

Net price, i.e. including deposit and monthly payments and admin charge.

Really? Mine is a 14 plate. A couple of minor niggles early on that were resolved quickly. Everything fine since.

Evoques, like many Land Rover cars, are littered with faults.

No, I was referring to the Golf.
