  I paid £5 for the same set a couple of years back from TK Maxx, they are awful in my opinion, the metal teeth broke off and they kept trapping hair and then the charge wouldnt last 2 mins! I dont know if they are still built to that quality tho, true Wahl stuff is v.good quality

  I bought one of these a few months ago and now that I have used it for a while I would recommend that you steer clear of it. The head is very small which is OK for small areas but not good for larger ones i.e. faces. The attachments are simply terrible and fall off in mid shave leaving you with a bald bit. The adjustable attachment is also terrible and while it doesn't fall off, it slips position mid shave resulting in more bald bits. As soon as I see a deal for a better trimmer my Wahl will be going in the bin where it belongs! Avoid!

  I have had a couple of these trimmers, one battery powered and one charged, both werent up to much. I too would avoid.

  Strange, seems to get mostly 4 and 5 stars from Amazon reviewers, then some 1 stars. These beard trimmers are a weird product, some people love them and some people hate them, maybe they expect too much and think it is a shaver?

  Yes, I just don't understand how people could give reviews like they did. They influenced my decision to buy one but the reality is completely different. Avoid!
