Now this might not be everyones cup of tea, but I thought it was a great series. Plus Julia Bradbury is HOT. Also I enjoy going to the Lakes so found this series very usefull.

I have never used BLAH before so would like to find out if they are any good. Cheers.

Julia Bradbury follows in the footsteps of Alfred Wainwright in this wonderful series featuring stunning aerial footage. Using Wainwright's Pictorial Guides to the Lakeland Fells, Julia discovers the treasures of the Lake District.

Featuring all ten walks from Wainwright Walks: Series One and Two.

Now this might not be everyones cup of tea, but I thought it was a great series. Plus Julia Bradbury is HOT. Also I enjoy going to the Lakes so found this series very usefull.

I have never used BLAH before so would like to find out if they are any good. Cheers.

Now I knew people would vote cold, but to those who do enjoy the outdoors and appreciate sexy women will vote hot. But for the majority of arm chair warriors who vote cold oh well.

The revisedbooks loose alot of the story of the origional books, it is common sence to use a GPS and/or map when following these paths as they have changed alot, but ...if you take the origional book which the series is based on you get to see many hidden treasures (views) that the newer books dont point out. If you watch the series you will see that Julia Bradbury herself used both the new & old books for this very reason.

The books are a lovely read for those intersested in his Life and his walks, can be expensive but I guess you get what you pay for - very happy with our set :)

Always take your map/compass/GPS never rely on a book that was writen 50 years ago
These books taken with your walk along with your - up to date equipment show how the land has really changed ;)

Last summer after watching the series on TV, my family and I went backpacking, the first time since Boy Scout days, many many years ago.

The Crinke Crags / Bowfell route looked great on the programme and was great, but very very tiring.

Don't let the excellent programme and the equally excellent Julia make you think you are the next Chris Bonnington, whe you are really plain old Joe Blogs

Anyway, a great find and a top series

Railway Walks is the next super series on TV with Julia
