Our household favourite so I thought I would share with you, seeing as they're on offer now. Great deal if you are looking for some quality mince pies! Don't be fooled by brands, last year Fortum and Masons were ranked bottom! Life's too short to eat bad mince pies :{

Or get the best mince pies from Iceland for £1.50 for 6.

Surely the Iceland mice pies rated top at £1.50 would be the hot deal?

Why settle for 2nd best from Waitrose?

I personally don't like the ones from Iceland. Too much sugar coating and the crust isn't as nice as the Waitrose ones. But I'm sure others will!

Yeah...I wasn't too keen on icelands "award" winning mince pies.

I preferred their cheaper ones...far nicer.

The waitrose ones are amazing. Similar recipe to their gold packaging last year, we got them for £1.25 a few weeks back. Filling tastes amazing and the pastry is made by Walkers (shortbread, basically).

Not sure why people follow those stupid lists, it really is personal preference, I've tried the Iceland ones and they weren't for me.

These are really nice, buttery pastry and brandy tasting mincemeat. Eaten too many already

I usually buy these but discovered the Lidl ones. Waitrose, Aldi & Lidl are all next door to each other in Market Harborough so I was pleased when a Waitrose customer in the cafe recommend them to me. I think they are £1.49 or there abouts for 12. He told me same price for 3 years & they are award winning too and he was right probably the nicest apart from my own.

Thanks for the intel. Lidl wasn't on my scope until now!

Highly recommend the Aldi mince pies with salted caramel filling!
