Oh boooo - posted this a few days ago! http://www.hotukdeals.com/vouchers/25-off-waitrose-hampers-even-reduced-ones-using-promotion-code-waitrose-1386618

This is what is making me question which one to purchase. I know they are overpriced, but by quite a lot it seems.

Everything is a "rip off" if you're going to grind it down to such basics - think of the markup on drinks in bars, but you also have to consider everything that goes into it

The one for £100 in the article I just paid £37.50 for

Indeed, that's why I'm not put off, just can't decide which to get as one is a fair bit more but I like the contents slightly more. I'm rubbish at buying things!

Super duper, 1 £100 hamper for £37.50, brilliant!
jimmybo#28
The Wonder of Christmas hamper totals £46.51 with items purchased separately on the This Is Money web site
We pay £37.50 with free delivery and a nice free basket to put all the Christmas leftovers in (_;)

Plus you've got luxury items in there that you wouldn't normally treat yourself to

Thanks OP - some baskets are HOT :3

Hawt Hawt Hawt. Been looking for decent hamper for Aunt & Uncle & this with the discount & 25% off is exactly what I need

Went for the Feast of Christmas in the end. Worked out at £56.25 plus I should hopefully get £10 from TopCashback for being a new Waitrose customer. :)

I did a quick rough total of the contents and they came to around the sale price (£75), so what I paid I think is very good. Mmmm.
jimmybo#31
Would a kind person please work out the cost of the ingredients in all of the hampers and post them in the deal heading with a comparison to the Waitrose discounted price for the hamper - because some people can't make up their minds X)
donnymo66suspended#32

Stubbarama#33

Just read that article what a rip off

It was at the original price which is why they've had to discount them now

With the 25% off as well, some of the hampers are now below the individual contents totalled price.

Most of them contain bottles of wine - which you can always get cheaper if you purchase them separately - but it is Christmas and makes a great gift - at the deal price.
