  Are you sure this can activate on Steam? I don't think it does.

  
  
  Last line of the product description says "Steam account required for game activation and installation", so I'm assuming yes.
  
  Also says in the description "Updates will automatically be downloaded and applied via the Steam client, which will allow new episodes to appear in the in-game menu."

  What do you get when purchasing from Amazon... The game download or a Steam activation code?
  
  On the Steam site the activation key is applicable for Mac and Windows. I'm wondering if it's the same with Amazon Digital.
  
  Okay. Answered that for myself it installs for both Mac and Windows with the one Amazon activation key.

  I've played the first episode, it's fun and I enjoyed it but even if you're obsessive about searching and talking to everyone about everything, you'll get maybe an absolute top end of 3 hours (You can easily complete it in half that time I hear!). On saying that I think this price is pretty hot considering what you get out of it

  Yeah - xbox you can only buy in 5x400 point packs - Still awesome though and I prefer doing it this way - I had 400 points from the rewards scheme so to get oart 1 of twd for free seemed worth it :p

  I'm being a muppet, it's the "Playing Dead" Episodes that are free to download, bit misleading but hey, off to Amazon US to spend some dollar :P

  When checking out you'll need to use a 'valid' US 'billing' address so I tend to use a hotel or something (preferably a state that doesn't pay tax - such as Alaska). It however DOESN'T matter as no physical product is sent.

  Played through the first episode and absolutely loved it. The conversations are especially well done because it delves into the gray area, so there's no answer that's earmarked as a right one and a wrong one, and no flashing prompts telling you when you can do a good deed.
  
  If you want an action game, just play Left 4 Dead or Zombie mode in CoD, this is purely for those who love a good adventure. Heat added.
