just noticed morrisons are doing walls sausages for 1.00 for the 8 pack. £1.88 in asda and £2.11 in sainsburys so not a bad price!

What is the actual pork content percentage in these?

Good price, however i find that these walls sausages ooze out a load of fat/water. I much prefer Sainsburys Butcher choice or similar myself.

Only 61% according to ASDA site - they're £1 there too at the moment (for 12 breakfast ones)

I had some of these the other day, quite tasty but produced about 2 cm of fat in my griddle pan. I had to dry them on kitchen roll first.

Good deal, but I llike the leaner sausages in the world. To all the above posters, all sausages are filled with lots of fat.

cost more, but seem more filling so you need less...

These are my second choice next to richmonds... mmmmm. With respect to the comments people are making to the pork content, the pork is actually not 100% pork but an amalgomation of pork, fat, gristle etc to make up the "pork" content. Any anyway, these fatty foods are bad for the health so who cares what the pork content is, if you like it and it taste nice just eat it.You'd be p***ed off if your last meal was weetabix instead of your fav full english.

Oh yea did i mention.. hot from me :)

I think the pre-cooked micro ones are 50p in Morrisons at the mo too.

I agree, sausages are about taste, there's no point worrying about what's in them, they're all rubbish nutrition-wise.

Butcher bought sausages can't be beaten. Much higher pork content.

These sausages, Richmond, etc all have around 30% of actual pork 'meat' in them. The higher priced pre-packed ones tend to have on average 60% pork 'meat'

to those who say they taste good, try some from a butchers and cook really slowly. You'll see a huge difference. (Do not pr*ck them when cooking!!!)

good price --nicely seasoned as well .
Add some black pudding and white bread fried in the fat to make it a balanced meal(tom sauce for one of your 5 a day)
