"Based on Universal Pictures' action-thriller "Wanted," starring James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman and Angelina Jolie, the Wanted videogame, Wanted: Weapons of Fate, promises to deliver the same fantastic visual style, in-your-face attitude and edge-of-your-seat action as the blockbuster motion picture.

In Wanted: Weapons of Fate players continue the story of hero Wesley Gibson, picking up the action where the film left off to create an entirely new chapter exploring both Wesley's journey to becoming an unmatched ?assassin and the epic fiction of "The Fraternity."

Featuring intense third-person action, Wanted: Weapons of Fate will take combat to the next level with iconic moves such as "Curving Bullets" and "Assassin Time" drawn directly from the film, as well as an innovative, multi-layered cover mechanic."

This game is awesome, however it can be completed very quickly (2-4 hours depending on how good you are).
you obviously didn't play the same game i did... i thought it was dreadful... shame really as i liked the film
It reminded me of Max Payne and the time attack mode that unlocks after you finish Wanted is a throwback to the New York minute mode.

I really enjoy these action/speed run type games where the core mechanic of shooting feels very refined. The gameplay programmers obviously took the time to make this part of the game feel right, it's a shame that the length of the game's nine chapters is so short and there isn't much variety in enemy types or weapons.

I think 30 quid is still a little too much to ask for the amount of content in the game (it's probably full price and not on Xbox Live Arcade because they had to pay Morgan Freeman's voice acting fees!) but I did enjoy it.
"Based on the film".

Now if only they'd based it on the comic....

i thought the demo was good and have pre-ordered.
If i complete it in a couple of days, i will just re-seal the security thing and get a full refund like i did with Mirrors Edge

GAME are also running this promotion and you also get two in game characters.
I have it on rent atm and I really like it but if its that easy I wont be buying.
games based on films always go cheap quickly ;-)
