Three Tigers Wasabi Peas (200g).

These are awesome with a couple of cold beers. Change from the old dry roasted peanuts.

OMG I have literally been looking for these EVERYWHERE. Which part of Tescos were they in? I looked in the snack aisles and the 'generic ethnic' section to no avail...
#3
Hmmm...they only have Whitworths Wasabi Bean Mix in my local Tesco
#4

wasabi peas = food of the gods.

M&S do them too, but for 99p.

Sold out in the Coventry Tesco, picked up the last two packs yesterday!

NEVER seen these over here, been getting friends to bring them back from Antigua! Nice find, and pardon the pun, hot!
#10
Nice to see some of the great Japanese snacks making it over here.
#11
Can't findn them online!
#12
Great find. Do you know if they still do the Wasabi sauce (not the paste). My local Tesco did it once but they've never had it since.

I bought a pack of these a whlie back, and they were very disappointing. very hard, and hardly any wasabi heat at all.
The M&S ones are far far better.
#14
They are in the 'World Foods' aisle in my tescos. Also do some chilli rice crackers on the same shelf which are very tasty too. :)
#15
sounds good, love hot food, how hot is wasabi??? is hotter than a habanero chilli pepper(we get these from the local indian, love the heat)
#16
awesome.

Wasabi can be quite hot itself... but on the peas it depends how much wasabi is used.

decent proper ones are alot hotter, hotter than any curry from your local indian....near pharl hot
diffrent things and sensations though the haberno chilli is rated as one of the hottest chilli's i think but its a slower burner so intially wont seem as hot then build up, wasabi is initially alot alot hotter but the impact resides quickly and unlike the haberno it doesnt burn the skin
always makes me laugh when alot of people try a decent wasabi pea for the 1st time......they run for the water!! they look so innocent..hehe...but my bet is these will be weak as hell

This is complete rubbish. Tried it once - threw it away. Get some decent Wasabi instead

Oishii tabemono!

voted hot, thanks

For those into wasabi I really recommend seabrookes crisps. Big bag in Morrisons. Nice and hot and a proper man size bag.
#24
go to a chinese supermarket to get some wasabi paste. I prefer wasabi peanuts to peas but still anything wasabi has to be good.
#25
If you like these, you really need to track down their superior big brother, which you can buy from local asian stores:

Wasabi+Nori crispy coated peanuts - ridiculously addictive!

Man, need to try and find these! I had some Wasabi covered peanuts when I tried out graze- unfortunately I couldn't really justify keeping the service on just for these!! Been looking for some ever since and these look perfect!

Wasabi peas, The chosen snack in japan if your knocking back a few Asahi beers. Used to get them in the Japan centre and Yaohan plaza. Most chinese supermarket have them too. The ones with the most white coating are the hottest.

Had similar peas in Home Bargains for 29p, but lots of additives. Will try these as my favourite are also only found in a couple of Tescos, if you like wasabi, you'll love Whitworth's Wasabi Bean Mix...yum! Cures a cold in seconds!!:)
