"after seeing" does not infer the sale has already happened and has now finished, so no.

Fancy edition aside how is the actual game, is it worth getting for the actual game?

For anyone near Oxford St London, they had this Xbox One version for £27.99. Seems like they had a few behind the till.

Tricky one to work out, really. I've been pondering whether or not to get it since it came out and it's hard to see through the hyperbole. I think the general opinion is "It's ok. Not as good as GTA or the hype, but just ok."

The only thing I can say is this is Ubisoft, so the map is full of busywork (collect X of this, unlock Y of that)...there's a lot of content there, but considering I spent 40hrs on Black Flag and bought the Far Cry 4 CE a week or so ago I think they'll be too similar.

Each to their own, though.
#18
I paid full price for this on PC around release. I wish I hadnt bothered. The collectables are nice but werent worth the asking price at the time. This is a great price though. The game is quite boring though. The "hacking" abilities get broing quite quick and the gun play is too simple. Worth this price for the collectables though if you are into them.

How much better do people think this is compared to the Vigilante Edition (I realise the Game offer ended already, but assuming I have been offered this edition at a price only slightly higher than Game had it on offer for Black Friday)? I can see it removes the cap and mask and adds the figure, map, badges, cards and artbook and looks like it also adds two more missions. I guess it is a little better, but a shame they didn't do one ultimate edition with all the extras.

Oxford street where? the game store that used to be there is now a boots. is there any other vídeo game store nearby?

I got watch dogs with my ps4 along with gtav. I've barely touched GTA as all my time has been spent on WD. The multiplayer aspect is both fascinating and immense fun - that one moment while playing single player you might notice that another human has entered your game and is stalking you. It's very cool.

Nobody has posted this yet so:

Dedkrap edition.

Ok, it's not that bad really but there's a lot of tat here. Many people seem to lap up these special editions regardless of whether the game is worthy of them, and few are IMO. This isn't.

Assassins Creed Re-skinned. IMHO no real value here as a collectors edition stands,

Watchdogs was a rather mediocre game a lot like most of Ubisofts games recently nice ideas poor presentation, so yeah no vote either way from me, still hot for those who like collectors tut though.

Flubit came back to me today saying "congratulations, you have found the best possible price" or something to that effect. They have not beaten the Amazon price.

I've been hammering them really hard for last two weeks and so far they always have given me a better price but looks of they have no one out there that can better the amazon price.

This is only the second time they have done this, usually when they can't beat a price they give me a better price by 12% then when I buy it they delay a week and then say they had no stock and had to cancel.

Speak of the devil, just checked Flubit and 5 of my recent orders have been canceled. Checked over emails and the sames story that suppliers had no stock to fulfill orders. Poor show.

Not 100% sure about this as the Credit Card transactions haven't bee fully updated but it looks like they have taken money for these transactions too which makes it even poorer show as technically they have charged for something that wasn't there in the 1st place.

That is what happens with me and probably 50% of the time I actually have to chase the refund as it doesn't automatically process, the supplier advises this is an issue with their system syncing with Flubit to process the refund automatically.

To be honest i've been mostly "demanding" low value items like Blu-rays and games and they've been offering to save a £1 or so at the very most so if this is their game to take my money and then not supply then i don't think i'll bother with them in the future and if the deal will be good as it is i won't be using Flubit and will just get directly from the merchant. Not really worth all this carry on, if the item is a high value however then it could be worth the punt.

My general rule for Flubit is if you aren't in a hurry and the Amazon price is good but not likely to sell out too quickly or increase in price (ie. obvious pricing error), then try Flubit first. If you are in a hurry or the Amazon price seems too good then don't even bother with Flubit.

Flubit can have the rare good moment - Bought an item other day around £5 cheaper than Amazon, and was with me in 2 days. But most occasions like above they'll take the money, say nothing and then state they're waiting on stock! They've gone down hill this year to be fair. Same as you if im not in a rush then i'll go with them.
