It is only four mins since posting, gone cold. I can understand the bad feelings of you guys about setanta. Never mind just thought some one might be interested. It would be really helpful if people can know what the problem with the company is?
Cheers

this is what it says on the website
"If you pay monthly and wish to end this Contract precisely at the end of the Minimum Term then you may do so by giving written notice, such notice to be given between 10 and 15 days after the start of this Contract."

Saying and doing are two different things - nightmare to cancel (wrote/emailed/phoned) eventually just stopped DD from bank and then received calls virtually every couple of hours for two weeks from them.

A nightmare.

cant find deal on quidco ???

You try cancelling at any point and they will refuse to take your call. I ended up cancelling my Direct Debit to have someone phone me and tell me it was illegal to do that. I suggested he got his solicitor to write to me about it. Still waiting for the letter, but no more Setanta for me, EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!

I had trouble cancelling with Setanta. Even if they were the only company providing sport I would not use them again. Sorry, voted cold.

I think you are stating to get the picture that any Setanta deal will go cold as they are a nightmare to trminate your contact > I can only agree with what has been posted so far took a registerd letter and the cancelation of my credit card to stop payment and they never even wrote to me to confirm my requaet. They just tried to keep taking the payment! DON\'T JOIN you have been warned!!!!!!!!!

Can only agree with comments posted aboutt Setanta, join at your peril. Trying to leave this company is a nightmare and no amount of calls, letters (registered or otherwise) will stop them phoning you every day for weeks and continually trying to debit your bank account/card after you have cancelled. Only after threatening legal action for harrasment did I stop hearing from them, be warned!

Do Not Touch Setanta

It took me FIVE months and multiple phone calls and emails to get them to cancel my subscription ... they treat the customers like crap ....
#15
