After seeing another deal on here for a cheaper version I thought it was only right to share my experience of these devices after owning many:

Concept = Brilliant
Design = Sometimes Shocking

Firstly I use blinkers on my 2 dogs because I find any other illuminating device is not as effective as these.

Dog collars that light up are good but are covered up by the dogs hair when they run or walk so you can't see them

There are many blinkers on the market however the common fault I have found is that the spring loaded clip normally used to fasten these to your dogs collar is too thin and after a while snaps and breaks.

I had had this with countless blinkers I used to purchase from pets at home for £3.99 each.

Now my dogs roll around in mud, run for miles and swim through rivers so I needed something durable which is when i found these.

They have a reinforced clip so they are sure never to break, they are super bright during the night and best of all they are waterproof

I have had mine 3 months now and by far the longest a blinker I have owned has survived with 2 springer spanels

Take my advice, don't waste your money on the spring loaded clips or the plastic ones they won't last

These are really good but are quite bright (and big to hang on a collar of a small dog).
I got the one that flashes red white blue without thinking. My dog is tiny so it looks like there is a very small police car coming when she wears it.

No wonder your dogs roll in mud, they're trying to stop the flashing. :p

Heated btw.

They're awfully tiny so it's hard to see, but if these are the flashers you unscrew and put 2 or 3 little button batteries in, our problem with them is they unscrew as you're walking. I have loads of the back bits that were on the collar, while the flasher and batteries are out there in the world lost.

Aww, shame I don't have a waterproof dog. These would have been ideal.

This happened to us too, the flashing collar works well on our lab but she's got short hair.

Thanks OP, bought for the kids. Definitely handy for my 2 year old.

Reinforce them with glue or something before you attach them to dog.

how do you switch these on or off, is it just by how tight you screw the battery compartment on? If so then I've had these in the past and they don't last.

on our second run out the end section went missing as it just came undone. is been suggested that they could be glued but then how do you switch them off and on?
#21
These are spring loaded as well

Ordered one, thanks.

still looking for a green and white one myself

Great flashers used on a very lively labrador never had a problem with them coming undone.. suspect user error... There is a rubber band which acts as a lock washer... battery life is good..
#33
You can't termite, you have to screw and unscrew them to start/stop them flashing. It's not user error btw, we'd have learned the first time if that's all it took. But a quid in the pound shop makes them disposable-ish, it's the button batteries I'm ditching in the environment that bothers me.
#34
hardly original and more expensive that the other deal you copied. proper sad!

Dog owners wouldn't wear them so why should your dog have to ... cruelty to animals surely
#38
