The Manchester United home shirt signed by Wayne Rooney is rightly popular with Utd fans across the globe. It is the style of shirt worn by United during the 2009/10 season, and is signed by Wayne in indelible ink on the one of the number 10

Rooney has seamlessly filled the void left by the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, adding goals to his already tireless workrate. He is destined to go down as one of United's all-time greats, having already won three Premiership titles and one Champions League title.

Whether you're looking to make an investment for the future or just buy the perfect gift for a Man Utd fan we have something for everyone.

Available in blue next year apparently ;-)

Was a deal posted for an Onkyo reciever a while ago and his comments were something along the lines of "dont buy a no name make get a Sony" or something like that, seems juvenile but it gave a few people a bit of a giggle for a while and it still gets mentioned from time to time.

Hope he never plays again, Hope he just gets hooked up every night between now and January, By the time we sell him he'll be 18st and play like a donkey.

Let's be honest. Great price for the signed jersey of the best footballer in the UK (although that doesn't say much these days).

I would love it if he went to city. That would be a big FU to United.

If this was a jersey of a true star, like for instant Kobe Bryant, Michael Vick or Luis Suarez, I might have forked up the cash.

Michael Vick! Seriously? There's a few million dog owners who might question his star credentials ;)

I'm a United fan but it pains me to say that City is his most likely destination. Reasons?

1) Real Madrid/Barca will definitely not sign him in January. Neither need strikers PLUS he's cup tied in the champions league so it makes no sense to splash out on him.

2) Next summer he'll be able to buy himself out of his contract and then leave for free (like Owen
did with Newcastle). This is the absolute last thing United will want...

3) The only team in the world in my opinion that will be interested in January is Man City. Chelsea already have Drogba and Anelka. Spurs are an option but they have a wage cap at around 65k so I can't see Rooney going for that.

4) He's already proved he has no loyalty at all by leaving the team he's supported all his life. So leaving United like this is hardly a surprise!

Potentially I can see a swap plus cash for Adebayor, which I wouldn't complain about to be honest...

I would rather have adebayor than shrek any day

If chelsea buy that green monster i would seriously stop supporting chelsea fc!

We have drogz & anelka and they can score and dont need a granny to stimulate em if you know what I meanz. ;)

After all he went through, after everything people were grossed out by, after he spent his time in a space of 2 by 2 meter for a while. After all that, he gets a new contract and within a year he is back being the amazing QB he was when he left and people love him for it. If that's not star quality, than what is. Woef!

Exactly which country or league do these football 'stars' play in ? Spain, Brazil,Germany.....? They don't play in a British league either, so why are they mentioned in comparison with footballers ?

Luis Suarez is a soccer star from Uruguay that plays for the champions of Ajax in the Netherlands. Watch him, he's better than Messi, Cruijf, Pele and Maradona combined. A true leader. The other are sportstars, so they compare in that category for me.

Luis Suarez is a good player, he done very well in the wc but to say hes better than Messi, Pele, Cruijf and Maradona combined is abit over the top

Don't you need all the money you can get?

And since you've changed from hero worshiping to hating in one week, you surely won'y mind if the Welcome to Manchester shrek banners appear?

We could do with the money yes, It's because he's our hero I hate him so much right now.

Doesn't matter about the money, It'd only go in the Glazers pocket's anyway, Were practically screwed anyway.

The sooner were sold on the better, Although I can't see that happening any time soon.

I understand Rooney's reasoning but I hope he respects the club and goes to anyone other than City or Liverpool.

He was one of my favourite players as he's also practically every other United fan's favourite but has shown a lack of respect, I really thought he'd go on like Giggs, Scholes and co but sadly I do think he'll end up at City.
#31
He will defo never go to liverpool
#32
Can you really blame the guy though? Just read his comment on the matter and I understand. He wants to win prizes, and for sure as hell he's not going to get them with the national team. So he should go to a team that can win prizes, like Real Madrid, Inter, Bayern or Ajax.
#33
Ajax!!
#34
I hope he buggers off to the continent so we don't have to read/hear about him every five minutes. He's vastly over-rated.
#35
He just signed for another 5 years with United. So now this is a bargain again right? Hot hot hot!
