My first visit to electrical clearance store, Ravenside Retail Park Chesterfield on Thursday. Lots of cheap stuff, picked up great priced network drive.
There were few more of these in the cabinet at the time. May be available at the other clearance stores?

Didn't post straight away as I wanted to check if it's any good first. Bit slow to put films on over network (can only be connected via ethernet) but is absolutely fantastic. Streaming music, films and photos to internet radio, Blu-Ray, PC, Macbook and phones! Has a USB port so storage can be expanded and can be set up to give access to your files over the Internet. Can't recommend enough if you don't have one.

I have had some bargains from there. They don't always have good stock in so it's worth going a few times.
Great deal!

This is for a networked drive - available to all the computers on the network at the same time. Your links are both for USB drives. Apples and Oranges.

fair point, well presented :p
Guess a lot of the ice in here came from people misunderstanding what it is, or not liking the localised deal. Hope it helped someone anyway!
I think the reason your post is getting cold votes is that the same idiots who always vote a 2.5" drive cold cos they think it's a 3.5" are voting cold here cos they don't realise it's a network drive!Heat added
Very good price for a 1TB NAS, I paid 65 for the Iomega Media one last week at Best Buy (price matched with staples) - and thought that was a good deal. This is better.
great, deal. bought an Iomega last week from staples. it's an ok product, does have occasional problems with streaming some video formats, web based control panel is good. had a WD portable which lasted over 4 years without giving any trouble at all.
