Worth mentioning, it's recertified

darn it, paid an extra tenner for one of the other types, also 2TB. Typical!

Free P&P if you spend over £50. Bought two - thanks for posting :D

Edit: Shipping has been confirmed, so they are on their way.

recertified is weasel-speak for 2nd hand

Had one plugged in my Xbox for about 4 months straight, not had a problem.

Good price.

Fantastic price, heated! Had WD recertified drives before, no problems whatsoever, definitely the smart way to buy storage as standard new retail prices on HDDs are dismal lately.

BTW anyone know if these elements drives can be opened to remove the HDD inside or do they have the USB connector directly on the drive?

The connectors are soldered, you can not remove it. I have a few of them already.

Shame. That would be useful.

#18
Seems to be in stock for me but the price has gone back up to £62...
#19
I bought the 1tb a while ago, will only read and write at usb2 speeds.
#20
Can see a lot of cancelled orders as looks like a price cock up as the 1.5 TB costs more.

hope you get the orders though.

Price hiked up, expire.
#22
Expired. They increased the price to £62.
£62 for used/repaired basic 2TB hard drive is poor value and cold.
#23
Ordered 3 this morning with £10 off code makes them about £37 each. Just had dispatch email.
#24
Had my dispatch email too. I thought the pricing was very odd but didn't complain, but brand new these are £69.99. I would agree that £62 is not low enough for a recertified drive.
