Tesco haters - please don't bother opening the thread.

No basis for this being expired after 50 minutes - should be unexpired until others have looked for one.

I was browsing for a decently priced 1TB HDD while in Tesco today and the WD Elements one was around £50. There was one 2TB version on the shelf (similar box) with no price ticket; when I scanned it I was amazed when it came up at £11! Seems to be the same as this one for £79.97 at Tesco Direct (but out of stock):

Yes, I know it may be a one off (no more on the shelf at Tesco Extra Solihull today) but if you're someone like me who thinks a bit of work is sometimes required to get a deal it may be worth a look next time you're near a Tesco with Sound&Vision department. I'm pretty sure any other stock out there with the same barcode will scan at the same price. Good luck!

If you're a Tesco hater who would prefer to sit at home and vote cold: more fool you. I've managed to get several of the recent clearance deals (netbook, cameras) and consider the effort worthwhile for the massive savings.

Edit: before I had even finshed editing this post it has gone to minus 106 with several extremely rude posts (as usual on HUKD). Clearly none of these people could have looked in that time. I don't feel any need to 'prove it'; I have posted it for other HUKDers to keep a look out but, frankly, I've got mine so the aggressive posters can............. carry on with their miserable lives! What's wrong with you people?

PPS I did think the box looked like it may have been opened but I've just unboxed the kit and it's still weld-sealed in a plastic bag - even better!
