As to whether the controller on your laptop can see/read 1terabyte drives is another matter though, google/forums are your friend.

That confusion has been around for a long time already! The amount of people that don't know the difference is incredible.

8TB pen drives and SD Cards should be out this year too :p

careful some of these drives are soldered, check it out 1st before buying.

You definitely can't use this one in a laptop as it's soldered on the end, and 12.5mm height !!
