As per the 1TB at £49.00, I saw this 2TB at £79.00, I'd say that's a price not to be missed.

fantastic deal

Not all that really.
Most 1tb hard drives £40-45, so you really aren't saving anything buy buying more memory in one device.

If you can get a 1tb for £40 then this one is still £1 cheaper - plus it means you don't have to carry 2

Does this come with backup software that would back up an entire system including a Windows OS?

I got one of these about a month ago for £70.13p via Flubit, really nice drive, works great so far.

Arent we supposed to get an interesting discount on storage capacity? I mean the more you buy, the cheaper it should be no?

I'm trying Flubit for first time with this - is there any 'trick' to getting the best offer? (If I reject it, will they better it, or it is what it is - sorry, if not clear)
Cheers

I just put in price request on Flubit and that was the price I got. I know there is another thread http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/wd-passport-ultra-2tb-usb-3-0-portable-drive-79-99-amazon-uk-1928644?page=2#comments for this drive, where we all seemed to get different Flubit quotes (but all within a £1 if I recall correctly)

Just be careful when buying and ensure you select the one sold by Amazon and not just the one fulfilled by Amazon as WD's official policy is to not provide a warranty if drives aren't bought from an authorised reseller/distributor. The one sold by Amazon is currently showing as £79.99.
