What will happen to things like this when they turn the analogue signal off in 2008, will they no longer work?
#4
Reminds me, is there a wrist wearable phone out yet?

Does it tell the time?

This'll look good when you strap the FULL SIZE Aerial to your back to get a signal ! :-D

I was only having a convo about things like this today at work.. I reckon we'll see this type of thing practically given away as we get closer to 'switch off'

They are certainly small enough now.

There have been a few chunky wrist phones out over the past 10 years or so. So far all have bombed as products as they have been too big and heavy to be practical. They are also expensive.

This is one of the latest (And smallest) models:

Hope you didn't buy it lol

tat has to be the most anoying watch in the world removing the back to change the battery all the time :-D
#24
I was going to take the p out of the TV 'Watch' (a watch that takes 4 AA batteries??) but then I saw the phone watch. It's a case of using 3 year old technology to try to address current desirability.
