#9
cant see why its hot... ok, there is 10p shoe polish, but £4 delivery, no free exchange/returns/collection like other catalogue companies, super expensive 0871 contact number and most of the sale stuff doesn't seem too amazingly priced...
#10
I have used mandm for a while. I have had no problems and there are some excellent bargains to be had. They always deliver what I ordered in 2 - 3 days. Hot

Hi, Good post. M&M customer services are excellent imho even though they don't offer a free returns service. Returned one or two items that were unsuitable and they refunded very quickly. Just keep the packaging and the labels with their catalogue number etc. Voted hot.

Just so you all know, Distance Selling Regs state that the customer does not have to pay the return costs. In fact all you need to do is inform the company that you do not require the goods, before 7 days, and they are duty bound to collect them. They do not need to be in original wrapper or packaging and, unbelievably, if it is flat pack furniture CAN BE MADE UP!!

If the company does not pick up the goods they must still refund you before 30 days is up. Including ANY postage charges originally levied.

Thank you.

Cracking deals at M&M though.

Yep, trainers and Hoodie for under £26 delivered. Just got confirmation they have been posted as well. Used them in the past and they have been excellent.

But they can deduct reasonable costs if they have to organise colection because you don't return them.
#25
Thanks OP. Just saved £322 on a spend of £69.34!

only if faulty does the customer not have to pay, otherwise you can "cancel" but you have to return it - even if it's at your expense - and you won't get refunded the original shipping cost - unless it was faulty or not as described.

This is quite simply not true.

Do some homework before giving "advice" please.

No they cannot. Why do people give advice on here when it is clearly wrong?

3.46 As soon as possible after the consumer cancels, and in any case
within 30 days at the latest. You must refund the consumer’s money
even if you have not yet collected the goods or had them returned to
you by the consumer. You cannot insist on the goods being received
by you before you make a refund.
#34
But...

3.55 If you want the consumer to return the goods and to pay for that
return, you must make it clear in the contract and as part of the
required written information – see paragraph 3.10. If the consumer
then fails to return the goods, or sends them at your expense, you
can charge them the direct cost to you of the return, even if you
have already refunded the consumer’s money. You are not allowed
to make any further charges, such as a restocking charge or an
administration charge.

well clothes all arrived this morning which i was very impressed considering i only ordered it at 5.30pm on Thursday evening...

however upon opening it, none of the clothes are the true size... I've got big shoulders on me so most of my clothes are XL... I ordered the Ireland XXL rugby top which fits but isnt the most comfortable and the two superdry polo tshirts (both XL) which i can put on but are more or less skin tight... I also ordered a size 8 pink superdry polo tshirt for my gf... its so small i reckon a 14 yr girl would have trouble fitting into it... very disappointed!!

Did anyone else have this problem??
#39
