6.5% protien is not enough to keep a dog healthy, you need something that's over 20% from good protien to keep you dog health but heat for a cheap treat for a one off.

The cheapest, nastiest, fullest of crap dog food you can buy. This stuff should be banned. Don't feed your dogs this rubbish!

Feed my dog BARF diet and wouldn't go near this stuff. As soon as i started spending more on the dog food the vet's bills almost disappeared.

Only gave this stuff to my dog once - he was very sick and I will not be buying it again.

This isn't great quality food (though I wouldn't trust those dog food review websites as they obviously have a vested interest in promoting various premium brands, the "reviews" are quite laughable), but like it says on the packet it is a complimentary food. 50% of this Mixed with 50% "complete food" dog biscuit (not mixer, not enough nutrients in mixer) will be fine.

As for making dogs sick, well that can happen for many reasons, not necessarily the fault of the food in question and sometimes a period of adjustment is required when having a different food.

I only bought it as a stop gap until my 54 tray value pack of Naturediet arrived from zooplus (best value quality food I have found), but it often takes her a while to get round to eating all of the Naturediet, I guess due to it's dry consistency and large amount of carrots. Whereas Webbox Chubb she eats straight away and cleans the bowl. I guess it's like us loving meat paste butties but not decent deli ham sandwiches!.

Obviously if you can afford the best then buy the best, but don't dismiss cheap food as complete rubbish as millions of pounds of research and development and years of scientific study go into even the cheapest foods to provide a reasonable level of nutrition. What would the likes of Purina gain from making dangerously poor food?, sure they want the highest profit margin but a reputation for making dogs ill or malnourished would be self defeating for any pet food manufacturer.
