When I click (on my mobile) on offers for Sainsburys, the Jacobs Creek drink is coming up there and not for Tesco, are you sure Tesco is correct? Thank you.

Yep I'm sure as it works fine on my app... :)

Still showing up for Sainsburys, when I click Sainsburys, just wondering if there is a problem with my app?

Excellent work as ever KiKai!

Tip: Waitrose started oodles of half-price deals today, including Cheerios 375g @ £1.24 (matches Morrisons best), to save the 20p Shopitize on. (Kellogg's Fruit & Fibre 750g also half-price at £1.49, ie almost same as 500g at best after Shopitize).

Jacob's Creek £2.50 showing up for both Tesco and Sainsburys for me (and also ASDA, Morrisons, The Co-Operative & Waitrose but not Boots!)

For those unfamiliar with Shopitize cashback for uploading your in-store supermarket receipt, and the other FOUR similar Apps/sites, see my earlier posting on KiKai's best deals from a month back:

I've just removed this app and downloaded it again. Wondering now if people get given different offers, only saying that, as I have still been given the Jacobs Creek drink for Sainsburys. Also, checked a couple of other things, I have been given the Jaffa cake offer for a few other stores, not just for Waitrose.

You are misunderstanding KiKai's listing!

KiKai does not list out all the stores the Shopitize offer is on at (out of the 7 stores the App currently supports).

The listing shows which supermarket(s) offers the BEST PRICE for Shopitize'able item/size : other supermarkets may sell the item (at higher price when KiKai checked) & Shopitize MAY apply at them too - ie KiKai's listing is trying to reveal the HOTTEST UK Deal available via Shopitize.

eg Jacob's Creek Sparkling Chardonnay @ £2.50 is ONLY listed as sold (per mySuperMarket) at
Tesco £7.49 <--- the cheapest & hence KiKai quotes this one
Sainsbury's £8.00
ASDA £10.25

So while my Shopitize app offers Jacob's Creek £2.50 showing up for both Tesco and Sainsburys for me (and also ASDA, Morrisons, The Co-Operative & Waitrose but not Boots!) I'll probably find Waitrose don't stock it, let alone at better than £7.49.

(It is a 'non-feature' of Shopitize that the interface does NOT list out which stores the offer applies to, you have to 'experiment' by cycling through the stores to see where it is listed (or not) - eg currently "Boots" = NONE = now rather an own goal after they added just a few cosmetics for 1-2 weeks a month or so ago from memory.)

Finally a very practical tip : before putting any item in your basket with aim of claiming Shopitize on it - do a LIVE BARCODE check in the store ie in the App set the store and item and validate barcode. Sometimes you will be picking up the wrong variety or size and very occasionally Shopitize will not have the right/latest barcode on their system and you'll have extra work getting them to correct their database before paying out (which they WILL do, but who want's more hassle/time for say 20p).

Thanks you KiKai, and thank you everyone who posts tips on how to do this, get the best deals etc. I found the app only because of previous version of this thread, and got to grips with it only because of the tips posted. To date I have redeemed £7 over the last couple of weeks which I was spending anyway. Thank you, and happy new year.

You're welcome and I am happy to hear that you have got to grips with the app and most importantly are saving money. Happy New Year to you and all your loved ones... :)

Since I upgraded my phone the app is not compatible with my device :( Surely there must be others on the same operating system as me!
