Rugby League Challenge Cup Final - Saturday 27th August 2011.

Tickets for this event start at £21 but on Wednesday 8th December you will be able to purchase seats for £10. I did this last year and although the seats will be right at the back the view is sensational! In fact the seats I got last year are currently £41. This is a great offer and a superb day out.

Of course RL is better known as God's Greatest Game....now played in the summer so you can enjoy a beer and a barbie... (except at the start of the season in February)...

Rugby League is proper rugby. It's that Union kick and rush posh boys joke of a game that isn't proper rugby

Great deal indeed

Hopefully it'll be nice to see my local team Saints do the business this year. New coach, Josh Perry, nearly a new stadium = More trophies :-)

Nah, League is the simplified version where you don't have to do difficult things like rucking, mauling, scrumming or lineouts. That's why only a few countries bother with it (like the mighty Papa New Guinea).

But don't worry - if a league player is good enough we'll let him move over to rugby.

Great deal, I went to the final last year and as I am in London it not far to travel. Hoping Wigan reach the final this year.

As for your post, We have the greatest game with Rugby League, we have the best skilled players and the most exciting game of Rugby. Also when the NRL gets their bumper new TV deal it will be Union players who will be jumping to Rugby League.

Is there any way to see all ticket prices rather than randomly clicking all over the stadium map?

yes it's legit and the match kicks off at 2:30pm on Saturday 27th August 2011.
#27
But where do you book the tickets? The link doesn't have any mention of the £10.
#28
Tickets on sale now - just got mine! Can't wait.

It's now showing the top row (maybe top few rows) at the outer sections as £10. Well worth buying - we bought the top rows for the GF at OT and had an amazing view, in RL being a bit away from the action can help you take it in more.

Just need Wigan to get to the final now.

Union is the one that sells out international games at Twickenham during the Autumn.

League is the one that can barely fill 14,000 seater stadiums for internationals because it's unpopular and the fans are economically challenged.

Yeah it's the back three rows all the way round. This year I sat three from back. Very high but view is sensational and as I was in block 527 was bang in the middle too. To buy tickets there on a normal day would cost £41 each. I've pretty much got the same seats for next year just a couple of seats along. Well chuffed..

bought mine today, thanks for heads up, now for the hotel.
Ticket price ? click on the area you would like to sit & it shows the prices for that area. I rang up, found it much easier to discuss where I wanted to sit & they gave me options from there.

got mine too..... just hope were not watching those whinos... Thanks for heads up!!!
