West Ham v Southampton Kids for a Quid on 20 October £1.00

mkjamkja

Hello all.
This deal may get frozen out due to club allegiences but I think, as an occasional supporter, that it is a good family friendly deal.
Parents or guardians still need to buy a ticket so perhaps the listing could reflect this (not sure how though on a variable pricing structure).
I took both my children last time and a good time was had by all.
At Upton Park.

The actual price should be £40 as you must buy an adult ticket to qualify for this deal.

No, its not, existing members can get member tickets from £36, so, from £37 for adult and child (for members and from £40 for non-members).

£37 for an adult and a child + £30 to be a member = £67 for annual membership, adult ticket and child ticket for current non-members.

There seem to be a few football deals around at the moment. For fans of other clubs, check out the palace and Notts County deals too

    99p overpriced I'm afraid.

Agree, more clubs should make it family friendly and these deals move in the right direction. After all, gives clubs more support in the long run and merchandise is a big money spinner too. Heat from me.

Funny. *Silence broken by a gust of wind and tumbleweed rolls into view* Constructive comment...not! Excellent deal for those able to take advantage.

I went to watch West Ham v Wigan last week. Word of advice...avoid Upton Park station after the game. It is just chaotic. Plus the stadium wasn't even full! Either go to Plaistow or walk.

Best quid ever if Southampton open a can of whoopass like they did against my lot, not mentioning team names but we lost 4-1 in a second half drubbing lol

Yes never go to Upton Park station when the game finishes.

Or do as I do and hit the pub for a beer or two after :)

Me and my boy are in but after last night I'm taking a cushion to hide behind in case we score too early and upset the Saints. lol

Most "non member" tickets are up in the gods. I think my tickets are on the roof of Barking station !

    With the kids??? :)

Got to be hot, a quid for the kids to see premiership football.

Must be hot. Kids for a quid should be encouraged.

"Parents or guardians still need to buy a ticket so perhaps the listing could reflect this (not sure how though on a variable pricing structure)."

    Not exactly hard, see http://www.whufc.com/page/MatchTickets/0,,12562,00.html

So then its "£40 to £56 for 1 kid plus 1 adult. Extra kids £1."

    Not exactly bargain basement...

The kid's for a quid deal is no doubt a very good one - But you have to buy an adult ticket to qualify for that price - the deal should be £40 as you cannot buy the ticket for £1 without an adult ticket.
