This box set was available for around the £35 mark a while back, but this is the cheapest I've seen it in 2011.

Need to watch this, but also 'need' to watch The Wire. Opinions on which to watch first?

I paid £120 to have this shipped from America several years ago, and it has been watched countless times now.

Fantastic still today. I have tried The Wire and the rest, but seem to keep coming back to this.

My favourite clip...

Tempted, so very tempted. Done The Wire and The Sopranos, now half way through The Shield and this is next on the to-do list. Thanks OP!

A must buy for anyone who like top notch drama series. It was a bargain when I bought it for £50 a couple of years ago. A steal now!

Great series, though be warned the picture quality on the UK boxset is shocking. On top of crappy quality, the widescreen series (2 onwards I think) are letterboxed on the DVD, meaning you'll have to zoom in on your TV or DVD player to get them fullscreen on your widescreen TV. It's like watching through a sheet of tissue paper. The US boxset is done properly (anamorpic widescreen) apparently.

This genuinely is a brilliant series. Got this deal ages ago when there was a few about, This price is unbeleivable. For anyone tempted I really suggest you get it! 127 (or about that) hours it says on the box worth of watching!

Tempting but im going to hold out longer as im in no rush to pick this up. Im not expecting it to drop to £20 like the Friends collection did but as soon as this drops under £30 i'll go for it

Bought this and Battlestar Galactica at Christmas.

At episode 8 of the West Wing and can't see what the fuss is (I've got Wingnut friends who think it's the best thing since sliced bread)

BSG I've been hooked from the opening scenes.

So I guess it's horses for courses (personally I prefer The Shield over the Wire).

Buy both and alternate between the 2 shows! As both are excellent but in different ways, I prefer The Wire personally tho.
