Depends on the format of the drive and the size of the iso image. Format it as NTFS, if it isn't already, and you'll be okay with iso images of any disc format and size.

I converted mine using the convert command straight out of the box. Holds 5Gb iso files a treat now.

No the only thing you can get is a y cable to power from two usb sockets. Not included BTW.

For £17 more than the Western Digital you get an extra 40gb storage, 8MB cache (as opposed to 2MB) and firewire port.

I got one of these recently, it works well with my newish laptop but not from my older one which has usb 1.1 ports even though it's meant to be backward compatible.

The problem is that my older laptop does not have sufficient power through the USB port to run it, so if you're buying this to archive stuff from an older computer with usb 1.1, then it might not work.

Hot deal all the same.... how does one vote hot and what does rep mean?
