You know this is a very old desktop drive with limited 4 month warranty? COLD.

True, but in my present impoverished state and my old OS-loaded Samsung 80GB Spinpoint starting to threaten me with untold misery in the near future, it's one of the better options I could find out there. I have a 500GB WD in the same system and it's been faultless for years, so 4 months warranty doesn't bother me. I couldn't find this particular driver cheaper anywhere else.
