Need help with image.

I was thinking of buying this, I want something with alot of space (2TB) for HD movies, that could connect through my PS3 (built in network) so I don't have to turn on the PC, with a connection that won't cause lag (gigabit ethernet cable), is this best value for the job?

Looks like a deal to me unless anyone has a better idea for a 2TB NAS.

Looks pretty hot to me, I thought these were well over £200 when I looked a week or so back.

Just a bit of advice for anyone thinking of moving all their data from a 1Tb World Edition to a 2Tb drive. I'm in the process of doing that right now, using the inbuilt USB. I've installed some neat software on the 1Tb so that it is self contained and the copy can continue while my PC is off. The 1Tb was nearly full, and has been copying 24 x 7 since last Wednesday evening. That's 6 full days and a bit!! It will finish overnight tonight. Note, this would probably take even longer over a network connection!

Cheapest i'd seen was about £190, so good deal. Been looking for a good price for one of these to back up my Mac and watch video on my xbox360.

Is this the best option out there for a high capacity NAS drive?
I've been after one for a while and this does seem the best for the money - just wanted opinions before i go an splash big money on it.

Just brought a 1tb version of this today from comet for £110.83 so this is a good deal. Currently backing up 2 laptops and 1 desktop on it as we speak. Not had time to play with itunes server, remote access and media server yet.

Little tricky getting wireless computers to see but I think that was due to router settings more then the drive. If you get one.. map the drive when wired and then if your wireless settings are ok it should be fine once wireless. That worked for me anyway.

Hmm, wonder why this didn't go Scorchio?

At 1 Gbit/s I'd say so!

The (potential) bottleneck would be how your network is setup - wired or wireless, what speed network cards each pc you're using has using etc.
