If you click on the link..it takes you to one costing £42.28. But in the column on the right theres a link for the £40.56 one. I'm not sure how to change the link so that it goes directly to that one.

Why so cold?

Probably because you can get 1TB for just £52 here:

Heat from me! Seems like a good price for a WD Caviar. Some people will vote cold based on the price for the 1TB drives. They seem to be going for about £45 - £60 region, however, this is a decent 7200rmp drive. Its like comparing a pair of hi-tech trainers for £10 and adidas for £30... penny pinchers sometimes cant tell the difference... let them eat their no brand beans :-)

erm its not a good deal. for £10 more you can get a HItachi 1tb, a good brand and probably more reliable the Western Digital.

Hmm,. that is a hot deal but this is still a gooddeal nonetheless.

I started looking for smaller hard drives...and found out I could spend a few extra quid and get this. £12 more and you could get that 1TB Hitachi. However, if like me you don't want to stray further and further away from your initial budget then this is a good price for a 500gb!

Size isnt everything

Sometimes bigger isnt always better...

Finding specific sized hard drives for your raid array is tough.. especially when you're after them on the cheap...
