These drives are great. I find they run much cooler and quieter than the standard ones.

£20 more for a 2TB drive at Nova, making this lousy value.

Oh dear ... aria sell this for 32 pounds ... um it`s the Green one

The price is coming up as £43.48 now

I don't know much about hard drives. Bit confused as to why this is getting so much heat - Normally 37/38 is a good price for a 1TB drive. Is this one better in any way?

I just need one to go inside my media player so doesn't need to be the fastest/best and would rather wait for a cheaper one

Western Digital give their Caviar drives different colour tags to identify what type of drives they are.

"Green" drives run at a lower speed, so they're meant to last longer use less energy etc.

is this one better than F4?

Press it and see... I personally prefer F5 cos of its ability to refresh a web page, F8 has it uses too though!!

F4 as in Samsung Spinpoint F4? The F4 runs at a higher speed, so it's better to install an OS, for example.

Not meant to be a spoiler, but I bought this drive from Amazon last week for £36.99.
It was reduced from this price. Maybe hold on and wait to see if they reduce it
again?
