Wonder if the Samsung F4's are "better" i.e. quicker. I wish they'd just benchmark the speeds somehow and stop faffing about bettering cache / spin / latency times randomly...

The failure rate and durability of WD drives is not the best, they have an average lifespan of 18 months for drives over 500Gb.
