As a result of flooding in Thailand last year, HDD prices will likely increase 20% to 30% over their average pre-flood prices and remain there through most of 2012
Stock pilers getting rid of old stock thats all "alanfixedit" your in for a long wait :p
as long as people remember that 3.5 = desktop and 2.5 = laptop, there should be no confusion
as for the price.....i no its decent because of the floods but i still cant shake the fact that i bought my 1tb drive for £35
I'm in for no long wait. Trust me. I don't just look at the most pessimistic thing I can find on the first page of google.
I would literally bite the hand that feeds if they ever come near that price again.
I'm sure the suppliers would love the prices to continue high until 2014.
Me think the market forces will dictate otherwise.

The market sets the price, not an overly eager critic that posts a blog or two on google. People require HDD's and are willing to pay this for them, guess what? They won't be getting cheaper for a while.
