£149.99 on the high street (pcw/currys/dixons) etc, So very good deal, although i got a 1 tb version last week for around £52, and would personally prefer to spend the extra couple of quid and have 2 1tb drives.

where was your 1tb from?

i got it from a local computer fair, although they are around £58 elsewhere making this an even better deal.

i just personally prefer to spread the risk of having a drive fail.

Cheers. I'd prefer a 1tb if I could get one for £50. I think I'll go for the 2tb at this price. Are WD reliable?

No one is reliable anymore :) all seem to have glitches every now and then...
best we can do is be cautious and make multiple copies...

good price though....been looking for one for a while...I'm going for this

Seagate seems to suffer from the COD (click of death) in the expansion version.... so I'm taking my chances with this little baby!

£99.99 now!

I'm going for the 1TB version...£57 and lower risk if I get 2 drives...

But if you get 2 drives you double your chance of a failure lol. Good deal, i'm just after one for backing up my hard drives.

if you have one drive and it fails, the probability of losing all you have is 1 (100%), whereas if you have two and one fails, then the probability of loss is 1/2 ( 50%)

if you have two and they both fail.....something's definitely wrong with you mate :P
