Hi

Basically, you create an account and then visit the retailer via the link on the Quidco page, then you get paid the cashback a few weeks or months later. There's a lot of money to be saved in using this or other similar sites.

Which is better - Seagate (as below) or this - same money?

Do we need to pay anything while joining or after joining on Quidco? I heard from one of my mate that it charges £15, is that true? Can someone confirm.

Heat added :p

knowing WD external drives it will fail in less than 2 months, have 4 WD external drives and wont buy another, 2 drives - 2 failures /replacements in 6 months, 2 drives - 3 failures/replacements in 1 year (last replacement last 1 week, took 4 weeks for them to send it!!), strangely my smallest drive a 250gb has been fine and is about 10 years old!!

They take £5 off the earnings in your account when you reach £5 total cashback, then the rest after that is yours. This happens once a year for every year in which you earn at least £5, and they never take any money out of your bank.

Hope that made sense :)

Thanks alot simon...

what if I dont do any transactions in a year(not used quidco?), will they still take 3% from my bank account?
#22
Are 2tb external drives as reliable as 1tb or 1.5tb? Read alot of customer reviews where 2tb drives of all manufacturers are failing.
#23
Why do 1tb/2tb drives break down but if you had say 250gb drive it will work for ever in your pc. Has the power on the pc has anything to do with it. I had 1tb iomega ext crash check with hard drive sentinal health drop to 85% in 10 days and 2 weeks later 35%. Also the transfer files got stuck and everything froze.

Thank you for your help

My 1TB WD Mybook gets a lot of use and has not had a single issue in the 18months? I've owned it.

I've never shopped at Dabs before, but after ordering this last night it arrived today! And that was with free delivery, too. Pretty amazing service, it has to be said.

Exactly why I bought the 1TB a few days ago. This will last me a bit and when I run out a bigger drive will be cheaper.

Ordered and arrived within 24 hours. Thumbs up to them.

Mine arrived very quickly as well, top service.
