Point taken but earlier reviews of iomega have been negative. These look good but only recently posted .Personally I will see what they say in time but on the reviews per link it looks like they have improved.......:..............time will tell:santa::thinking:

Sorry, forget my ramblings i was thinking they were both advertised as USB powered (stand alone) HD's

It would have been a phenominal price had it been... although still good

Regardless of which Heat and Rep for Both voodoosam and Deanos

I paid £60+ for one of these a few months ago, very reliable so far and very quick too, heat and rep added :)

You asked if it was USB and yes it connects via USB and power supply to run it, the WD one also uses a power supply

i hate USB drives like this that do NOT have a power switch. It's a pain in the ass having to keep removing leads when you don't want it on.
