Its £5 cheaper than the amazon one.
Good price per GB,

But is it just me, or does this HDD look pretty ugly? Compared to the My Books etc
Be aware that despite the impressive-looking padding around the exterior of this drive, I've just had my two-month-old drive fail on me after a fairly innocuous fall from about one foot up onto a soft carpetted floor. I know hard drives are delicate beasts but I'm particularly unimpressed :-(
Can any external HD be HFS+ formatted?
does this power via usb?

includes power pack.
£1 more to get a LaCie 500gb one

LaCie>WD anyday - also, I know which I'd rather have on my desk.
That's a good price actually might buy one but still thinking.
I got one when they were in the Google Checkout £10 off deal.
Works fine, quiet and cool, spins down when not in use. Trouble free.
Just ordered one, can't wait for it because I'm running out of memory so bad. I download so much junk.
mine failed as well. In 4 months even without a fall.
Gone back to £69.99.
