Nice find.

For what it is worth, you could get it a little cheaper by getting PCWorld to price match. Collect in store might be more convenient for some.

They should do as Dell is one of the sites listed on their home page.

Which just goes to show why you are better to use the likes of Dell as sources of price match deals with PCWorld.

This seems to be a growing trend, e.g. the Woolworth's XBox Hard Drive and Messenger Kit misprice fiasco this week.

i agree, all the orders probably will get cancelled, but in the past, dell's excuse has been that the models are discontinued and they don't carry stock of them in any event .. this product is not discontinued and is now in stock so i say let the battle with dell commence! if you are a customer like me that has ordered many of the different offers they've cancelled this will show on your account so if you make enough fuss, you never know..

Your order has left our supplier and is now with the delivery company. Our estimated delivery date is listed below.

My order has been dispatched. This time DELL honored the deal.

Just wanted to say that I was the one that started this particular post, and I ordered a drive, and after seeing the concerns in this thread I queried the order via email.

I received the following response tonight, which does look like a run up to an email saying I'm not getting my drive, but I shall wait and see, and let you all know the outcome.
I placed my order on 25th July, eta according to Dell is now 13th August.
Dell haven't yet charged my credit card, so I shall have a shout at Dell in the morning, then may consider canceling the order depending on how much they wind me up.

The website did say, and STILL says 'Usually Ships In Within 24 Hours'

I would like to receive the drive but won't hold my breath.....but I will let you all know either way.

Thank you for contacting Dell online customer service.

date on your order.

Thanks and Regards,
