Isn't this expensive? You can get a 1TB for £80-90.

I was considering buying one and ripping out the hard drive to put in my PS3, but I'll wait a bit longer as hard drive prices are dropping quite quickly!

I bought one a few months ago and the 320gb drive sits very happily in my laptop :-D

Wow! How do you this? Is it a relatively straight forward procedure or are you just particularly adept with computers?

It cheaper and easier to just but the hd on it own, not point going to all that effort.

I guess so; just thought that maybe certain programmes or games etc would run faster if the storage was in the computer and not extraneous to it

I bought this drive new from Ebay for under £65 last week.

The drive inside inside it is a WD SATA Scorpio Blue which is the recommended drive for upgrading a PS3 ! :thumbsup:
