£49 at PC World?

That's the older USB 2.0 version judging from the port. The USB 3.0 has slightly different looking port

Are there a lot of USB 3.0 products coming out now (presumably without USB 2.0 connection option), and is it only the connection into the device that's changed (rather than the one in the PC - or will this require new ports on a PC adding?)

The plug going into the computer is the same size but has extra connectors. They fit and work in all USB 2.0 ports, but obviously not at USB 3.0 speed.
