Has this just come back into stock? It's been this price for months.

I have just checked the rules with regards to the reposting of a previously posted deal etc. The rules state that: -
“Any thread over one month old would be fair enough to receive a repost if there is a price drop or not, as this allows newer members to receive notification of that deal. With site membership increasing as fast as it is, that would become more significant for new users, as it would be unlikely for them to easily stumble across a month old thread.”
So, in this instance a repost is most acceptable. I hope that clears up any doubts.
Regards Andy

For a start Amazon and Play are not the same merchant.

Play also offer 4% Quidco and they have 5% vouchers

Using the 5% vouchers reduces it to £42.74, and Quidco gives yo £1.71; meaning you can get it from Play for £41.03, whereas Amazon it is £44.99; think I'd rather have the cheaper option myself

Does the voucher work on this? I could never get it to work so I just used the blu-ray one instead (presumably finished by now?).

I found buying one in a caddy like these (or others that may be on offer from time to time), preferable to buying a bare drive.

Why?

Because then you can pop the PS3 drive in the caddy and use it. Rather than just have it wasted.

The RAC codes no longer work with electrical items.I tried for ages to get a fully working code to work when ordering this very same item on Monday and if you scroll down to the bottom of the screen on the RAC site (where it gives you the codes),it says what these codes CANNOT be used on.

You can get them over at scan for £43. Anyone on Hexus or AV forums can get free delivery (£6 otherwise).

Ebuyer also £47 delivered or Spend over £50 and free del.

£45 on amazon..

It's a pretty standard price tbh.

I got a caddy off eBay for around £3 and got this bare drive. Probably cost around the same but this way I knew I was getting a drive highly recommended for the PS3 and I didn't have to undo an external caddy.
