No HDMI output. Just component cable for 1080i. However, cheap and apparently well built.

This one really is a lot worse than the other WDTV players for codec support. I'd really consider what you're looking for before buying this.

This is riding off the success of the Western Digital HD player..
It makes you wonder if they are deliberatley putting HD in the title to boost sales , when is actually not stated as that by western digital .
The box picture clearly does not have HD in the title - Its actualy the WD TV mini

THIS ONE IS NOT A HD PLAYER
It does not play high definition videos ..

You can get players such as this from other brands for less money
