Ordered two of these and they are even better. Brilliant piece of kit. Twinned with a bit of pirate bay and the tesco delivery deal and I never ever need to leave the house.
How is this product better than that? Sorry for basic question but I want to know if it worth me replacing my existing kit for this

actually that post was over 2 weeks ago then after that deal it went up as someone posted this... http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/western-digital-tv-live-streaming-media-player-70-66-amazon-1270394?page=6#post15109742 then its gone back down to this price stated in the deal.

streamed from a NAS storage you may have or pc... once connected via WIFI can stream youtube and even things like videos found on facebook ect.
WD's own forum is perhaps the best place to start. There are many themes out there that you can try. Download Thumbgen and create movie / TV sheets. You may also want to try WDTV HubGen which is basically for the hub but works with SMP too. Great tool to get metadata, thumbs and subtitles etc and more user friendly compared thumbgen. (But thumbgen has far more features.)

because some WD media products don't have wifi built in so can't stream wireless from say your pc or can do but only when you have bought a compatible WIFI dongle... doing this also takes up a usb space so if you had say 2 usb connections you'd be limted to just one after connecting dongle but this device has wifi built in so doesn't take up extra usb space and doesn't require extra products to make you connect. This product also supports as mentioned things like netflix, youtube and other services that previous models may not have. This product has a new feature called WD tv control which turns your smartphone into the ultimate remote control as such so theres another feature erm i can't think of any other important features or questions you may have so ask if there is any.

- Yawn..... AppleTV murders this, a very nice piece of kit, pick one up for around £20 more, jailbreak it and you will be very happy indeed.....
