I saw a trio of these last year, and despite my own advice (only ever pay Panasonic or Philips) I stuipdly went ahead.

One year later and I've bought a Panasonic to replace.

Don't waste your money!

I'd have to agree, the quality isn't really up to the job. If possible spend a little more on a product that not only works but lasts too.

WHARFEDALE is an Argos own brand, they take whatever Chinese rubbish they can find at the lowest price and stick the Wharfedale name on it. Don't be fooled into thinking it has anything to do with the old speaker manufacturer.

Thanks for that, I assumed it was one and the same as the speaker people

The speaker people (or what's left of that company) apparently licence the name to Argos who put it on cheap tat. Having said that I've gone through several expensive DECT phones before getting a pair of Binatones (not a brand I'd hand over any money for) as a freebie. 5 years later and they still work.
