I don't think it is the DVD3210DVX - this is what that model looked like:

and this is what the model Netto are selling should look like:

Wharfdale is good value for money. How is the warranty like?

I want to know the model before I buy it to see if I can make it multi-region with a remote hack andto find out if it is any good.

As it states it plays both PAL and NTSC, does that not imply that it is multi-regional?

DIVX for under £20? Top bargain!

I thought that just meant it could deal with the framerates from both regions, because you can get region free (region 0) dvds, which are either NTSC or PAL. So I thought it would play PAL (region 2 and region 0) and NTSC (region 0) but not PAL or NTSC outside of region 2 or region 0, if you get what I'm saying.

Checked these out today in my local Netto. As betelgeus posted, it is indeed the DVD3210DVX and even has the Argos cat. number from last season on the box! (533-3947). Argos price last season: £39.99.

The product does look like the (Netto) picture above, not the one in the Argos catalogue (also shown above).

First the good news.
The remote batteries are included. :-D

Now the bad news:
It also said on the quick start guide something about the DVD player may not support:
1. some MP3 recordings due to differences in the recording formats of the disc type
2. some CD-R, CD-RW & DVD-R due to laser pick up & disc design
3. some VCD discs
4. some discs with JPEG files due to different recording format or condition of the disc

I think they probably have covered themselves with that disclaimer!!! :pirate:

Nor did it state that it was or was not multi-regional.

Watch out for details coming soon of a Tevion full width multi-regional DVD player available from Aldi available this time next week for £19.99, although the Tevion machine will not support DivX

Edit:
If the product is not multi-regional, the hack may be
Using the remote, open the tray (don't close it yet), press 0 1 2 3 then play.

With thanks to NickMidgley on MSE for the suggested hack
