Thats what i was thinking. No main retailers seem to have these nor does ebay. But is it any good though?

Unlikely to be very good...especially at this price and sold by Boffer !!

The spec looks a lot like the cheapo chinese iPod (mini? dunno - not an apple fanboy) knock-offs that have been around on eBay for a year or two. About the same price, too.

Argos used to sell them, a girl at work bought one and is very pleased with it, uses it every day, she's had it for around a year now and paid something like £60 odd. I have had a little play with it and it seems fine, menus/controls are a bit strange if I remember right, but unit works fine, I think you have to convert the video files before you can play them (probably to amv format) but it did play them well. I bought a cheapo chinese ipod clone from E-bay and I have to say that this is much better than the one I bought.

Theres one on E-bay... 360148823810 but its the 8GB version...

I ordered this player last week and received it today, despite the advert saying that its brand new it isn't. The player I received is tatty, scratched and the ear phone port is broken making this player useless.

I ordered using a debit card so I'm not sure if I can claim the charges back from the bank, would it be worth going to the police or small claims court? This is an open and shut case of fraud, selling broken goods as new.

Have you tried phoning them? You may want to report to TS if you think they did it intentionally.
