Picture CID display on photo frame
Picture phonebook on frame
Calendar and alarm
Speakerphone on photo frame

Bought 1 and im really really impressed - comes with a little remote - plenty of features and the sound quality is really good for especially considering the price - HOT HOT HOT

Should have got 2 but all sold out now
#28
Does the frame interact in any way at all with the phone (ie display a jpg of who is calling) or is it just a completely random pairing? Like getting an anchor for your rabbit hutch (with apologies to Sean Lock)
#29
NONE LEFT: None in Stock in Blackpool, Lancaster, Southport, Preston, Deepdale, Leyland... :x

On the argos ebay clearance page there are some in stock but they are for £29.99 with FREE delivery.
I am very tempted for the feature of having your photo of your family member pop up on the photo frame when they call but i do think it could do with an answerphone on it!

I need to know if the photo frame can be used with another DECT handset so i could use my BT DECT handset with answerphone and use the handset on this somewhere else in the home or to use the photo frame with caller ID do you need to use the included handset?
#30
BT 1571??? :whistling:
#31
Argos's eBay site is doing them for £29.99inc too http://*********.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item= 360160292647

For some stupid reason eBay links are banned. Just search for 360160292647
#32
more than 5 available in stockport peel center. ;)
#33
Got mine (3 more at Livingston retail park).

VERY nice bit of kit from first inspection. Takes a USB dongle, SD card and it even comes with a remote control.

So, from what I can tell it can be used just as a photo frame but it's the caller ID I want with a photo of who's phoning.

/readies caller ID photo for the mother-in-law http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/9171/motherinlawq.jpg :-D
#34
Just got two - fantastic idea - photo frame and base unit are DECT based - couldn't t it to hook into my philips dect phones but standalone the caller id works great on photo frame and phone
#35
The phone is truly horrible. The photo frame (and remote) and the caller ID really is top notch though. I managed to link the frame to my Panasonic base and it's listed as number "2" on the frame. I think the frame is simply a DECT handset. Couldn't get the frame to recognise calls though with the Panasonic so I've link all my Panasonics to the frame's phone base (which can be miles from the frame of course). Stuck the phone in the drawer. I tried to transfer my Panasonic phone book and the frame did find it but got a bit stuck. That's not something it's advertised as doing but it would be nice if it could.

Best thing for me is the ringer on the frame. Number 3. Really nice non-shock. Have mine set to clock too and it's UK style showing full time, day, month and year. That alone is worth £25 to me.

does anyone know how to put photos onto the frame, all it says is jpegs less than 10mb, ive tried that, no luck, ive tried resizing the pics to something smaller, still no luck, someone help please
#37
Have you dragged the JPEGs directly to a memory card or USB stick and left it in the frame? Once you have it should find them immediately when you press the button on the top left of the remote. Or go into the menu and click on Photo.

You should get a Loading... message top right and then they'll appear.

Try JPEGs from other sources too like http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/9171/motherinlawq.jpg Just in case you have a faulty batch of images.
#38
drag n dropped the jpegs onto a usb stick, put it in the frame, pressed ok button on top, comes up with loading msg, wait a few secs, goes back to main screen.....nothing

tried same method but with a MS, comes up with loading message then "no playable file"....then goes back to main screen....again nothing
#39
I'm having a similar problem. i've tried using a small (256mb) usb stick and this works ok but it doesnt really hold enough pics. i have a 2gb micro sd card with adaptor so tried that and it says "no playable data" I've tried a different adaptor with the card and tried formatting it but still doesnt work. Does anyone know if the frame has a maximum memory card size?
#40
Micro-SD and 4GB+ SD cards aren't really "SD" as far as many electronic items are concerned. They just can't cope with cards that aren't part of the original SD standard.

Again, using an adaptor can cause problems on many computers (frame is a mini computer) because it may recognise the adaptor and stop looking for a card. This can happen in Vista and XP too.

Try and keep with a >1GB SD or another standard item. This is why I keep old cards and USB sticks.
