So i hope everyone will be tossing after and have more success than i will be, usually it ends up on the floor with the dog eating it.

Apart from the football tonight this is another reason to have fun today so if you dont have any toppings for your pancakes then below are a few ideas:

JIF LEMON JUICE 55ML : 25p @ Sainsburys

NUTELLA HAZELNUT CHOCOLATE SPREAD 200G : £1.03 @ Sainsburys

MARMITE YEAST EXTRACT 125G: £1.38 @ Sainsburys

TESCO VALUE MIXED FRUIT / STRAWBERRY JAM 454G: 38p @ Tesco

TESCO VALUE CRUNCHY PEANUT BUTTER 340G: 65p @ Tesco

HARTLEYS OLD ENGLISH MARMALADE 454G: 32p @ Tesco

I had a look in sainsburys and tesco but the ones i could find were like £4. Dont know if i was looking in the wrong places.

Dont understand people today, its only been on a couple of minutes and the deal is already so cold? :?

I managed to grab a little 250ml bottle of real maple syrup in Asda last week for a £1.

My Mum used to make savoury ones that had Mince in them mmmmm

look up dutch pancakes many savoury ones like with Bacon/Cheese, Apple/syrop, much better than the USA pancakes.

We usually have bananas that get cooked in a little bit of butter and some cinnamon on ours.

Nutella is 69p at aldi
peanut butter is 45p... a little bit cheaper! plus they sell all the other toppings listed here (some aren't branded, but its all made in the same factory!!)

ive just done pancakes for all the neibourhood kids ...they all had (and this is all in one pancake

Chocolate fudge sauce
Fresh Whipped cream
marshmellows
banana
chocolte buttons
and
flake icecream

Then i sent them home hahahahahah glad i only have the one child to clean the puke of :)

ah well its only once a year and im a soldiers wife ...a lot of the dads are away so i thought it would cheer the kids up

Ive locked the door and turned the lights off ...just in case a barrage of angry army wives decide to pop round (chuckles) ...meh the kids think im the best mum ever .....woot chocolate wins the race again...in your face lemon juice and sugar (shudders)

Went round 3 shops including tesco looking for tinned cherrys in syrup, couldnt find any had to get some cherry muller corners.

Best toppings:
Cherrys in syrup with vanilla ice cream
lemon and suger
condensed milk (drawn in a face)
cheese and ham

Anyone find a deal on tinned cherrys?
