Looks like a great deal

I got a ceramic hob in january with a 5 year warranty, great i thought until a small hole appeared in the glass. It looked like it had sand in the hole. Redhill Appliances refused to even come and look at the hob as they said glass wasnt covered! I have had to get a new hob from elsewhere....wish i had waited for this one.
Hot for me

Is it just a standard fit,how will i know if this is a direct swap(don't say measure it) i can't at the moment.

I bought my old one,off the shelf as it were,i'm sure it's 60cm.

Workmate is on his 3rd one of these after slithers of glass came off around the edges twice. Wouldn't even warrant it first time but did the second?? Think he got stitched up the first time by unhelpful warranty dept.

I hardly cook anything,so mine will be more for show lol

I used Jual earlier in the year and service was excellent.

this is a standard fit item and will replace any existing 60cm hob comes with all the fixing kit and screws. Very easy to install not even a 30 min job. I couldn't fault the company although they seem to get mixed reviews. All emails answered the same day. Ordered and received a return call within an hour and given delivery date and 3 hr time slot. Delivered on time. I was not going to purchase and wait till my solicitor confirmed my new house was signed and sealed but at this price couldn't take the gamble of loosing out so bought it anyway.

There is a thread on Money Saving Expert about poor customer service and rudeness from Jual. Also a suggestion that they bully review sites into removing negative comments.

Common complaint is that they take the money straight away, then when you chase them up it turns out the delivery will be 4 - 6 weeks.

Not sure if this link will work, but this is one guy's account of Jual and how Jual threatened Reviewcentre over the bad review he gave of Jual:

Yes read all these reviews and the report about review sites but at the end of the day they performed outstanding for me so I can only go on this and the many good reviews I read. Simple way to order from them without any problem is Email them before placing the order to ask if the item is currently in stock they replied to my emails on the same day every time If its in stock great order and arrange delivery date and time immediately if not in stock ask them for a lead time and then decide if you want to order or not. If you want ring your order through and you will get an immediate delivery date or estimated if the item is out of stock.

Same from me, after reading the reviews i was weary..i phoned them to confirm they had stock they said they had plenty over 70 in fact...i thought it was too cheap to be good to be true but i ordered anyway.
I ordered monday they said they would deliver wednesday, tues the paperwork arrived in the post and then a phonecall saying delivery would be between 6am and 8am...!!!
Wednesday morning 6.30am hob arrived..perfect service and a bargain so thanks to the op and you have to read between the lines with some reviews..

I forgot about this, then ordered it.

Made a schoolboy error though, with the OP saying it will replace any 60cm hob which mine is,i didn't realise you also have to measure what size the aperture is for it to go in.

So it didn't fit mine arghhhh

It's 20 quid cheaper though than last year :D
