WHIRLPOOL AWOE9140 WASHING MACHINE I bought this today from COMET in Bromborough but it is a national offer. It also has free delivery if you want it or you can collect in store

I have a large family with tons of washing so was looking for a large wash load and fast spin speed. The spec of this machine includes a MASSIVE 9kg load and a 1400 spin speed, it also has 30min quick wash programme, and a 1 hour "mixed" programme. It also has a countdown clock which is handy.
The only problems with it is that it doesnt have a half-load programme, BUT if your looking for a 9kg wash load you are probably less likely to need a half load facility, (I have barely used mine in the last 5 years on my old machine)

It also only has a cold water feed but i just connected the hot to it instead, no problem.

Anyway you can see the spec on the link. I am very pleased with the performance of it.

The energy/wash/spin ratings are A/A/B but the spin is fantastic so I dont understand why it only gets a B rating but there you go.

I haggled in store because i wanted the 5 year warranty (with the hammering it gets it is a must).which was £169 and got it down to £139. The total was £408 with the 5 year on site parts and labour warranty. This was the best spec and deal I could find for the money I hope this is of use to someone.

Genius idea!
Now you can hot rinse everything and spend a fortune on heating water, and have even more creased clothes as a benefit!

Top shout above, why on earth would you want to connect the hot water?

As far as I know all modern wahers dont have a hot fill. You should only use the cold hose and not connect the hot. Thats because biological detergents need to satrt cold apparently. more info here:-
