Great deal. Odd question, does anyone know of a good cat food that doesn't smell of cat food? I want to get cats but my wife is saying she doesn't like the smell of cat food so a non cat food smelling cat food would be the ideal cat food for my cats that I currently do not have due to my wife's cat food smell sensitive nose.

Good price. Shame my cats prefer gravy.

You can feed a cat on dried food only which doesn't smell so much as long as it's a quality one not that go cat rubbish. So something like Royal Canin or Hills and keeping it fresh will help.

Kittens eat this just fine, just cut up any extra large chunks if you find any, in the wild ( feral ) kittens rip meat apart, so is fine. :)

Agreed, most kittens are more than capable of eating adult food, people are just too fussy. I have seen it first hand.

They probably can do ok on adult food but I wouldn't recommend feeding it to kittens. Kitten food is quite calorie dense which they need to grow and will have slightly different nutritional values. Kitten food is good however in adults for fattening up underweight cats or those who are pregnant or lactating.

There is dried food for all types of cats and kittens, neutered young male, young female, middle aged cats, old cats, diabetic cats etc. our vet uses and recommends dried food, just make sure there is plenty of water, heat given as this is a good deal for wet food though, Hills or Royal Canin are the dried to go for.

I also hate the smell of cat food, dry food doesn't smell at all we feed our cats royal cannin kitten and adult quite expensive compared to say whiskas they don't like it as much as wet food but it doesnt smell.

Funny how on cat food deals we dont get the 'pet food police' arguing about how crap the food is bla bla bla like on every single dog food thread?!

the 48 pack is often on offer at £10...so now they have reduced the size of the pack to 40...and its on offer at £8...not much difference in price...hey ho

you haven't read many cat food deals here then :p quite often a back and forth, plus surprised there hasn't been the usual reply to the 'use dry food' suggestion ("destroys your cats kidneys").

have to be honest, i almost commented myself on how rubbish whiskas is, but not worth it.

Good deal, but my cats won't eat Whiskas for some odd reason. Thry love Felix and even Tesco own brand. Fussy weirdos

I have seen Whiskers on sale everywhere. My cats used to love it, now they will not even take a nibble.
I have heard from a pet shop lady, they change the recipes in Whiskers any time they like without having to tell the consumers.
I guess this time they have cheapened the ingredients too much and are now having problems shifting it.

sorry but you are wrong

Dry food causes dehydration, urinary and kidney problems
